Though most people know Oakland, CA is where I was born and the ONLY city I will always call home, only key members in my family know that my oldest uncle was one of the unsung soldiers in the formation of the Black Panther Party. For my uncle Monzell, Huey, Stokely, and those of us who still live oppressed, we must remember the life of Geronimo Pratt.
Here are at least 5 other reasons why.
